For students who start their FE full-time courses aged between 16 - 18 years, there are no tuition or examination fees.
Assistance with fees
You may be entitled to a reduction of course fees if you are in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance. Documentary evidence must be provided. Please call 0800 032 1986 for further details.
Education Maintenance Allowance
NB. Legislation currently being enacted will radically change the current EMA system. It has not yet been made clear by central government what allowances (if any) will replace EMA or how eligibility will be determined.

Application packs for the 16 – 19 Bursary Fund and Adult Learner Support Fund for the 2012/13 academic year are now available.
The funds are means-tested and intended to assist learners in overcoming financial barriers to participation at College. More detailed information is available from Learner Services or our Finance Department.
Learners wishing to apply should contact the Learner Services Team on 0800 032 1986, or you can request an application pack by emailing email@example.com, stating the learners full name, postal address and date of birth.
All applications are considered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and support funds are limited so early application is essential. .
FE Loans for 2013
From September 2013 FE Loans will be available for students aged 24 & over studying on a Level 3 or 4 course. These will operate like HE student loans. You will only start to pay back the loan once you are earning more than £21,000 a year. Please come and speak to us in the Finance Department or Learner Services Team if you have any questions.
