Buildings Accessibility

The College has introduced a number of adaptations to its buildings, in line with the Disability Discrimination Act (2001). This has made it more accessible for all students.

Hereford Campus

  • All buildings contain a wide range of facilities including lifts to all floors, wide corridors and electrical opening entrance doors
  • Disabled Parking Spaces - 13
  • All buildings have accessibility via ramp
  • Disabled Lift available in B Block
  • Hearing Loop – Available in Reception and 6 Designated Classrooms in the LRC
  • The main outside pathways are all DDA Compliant
  • Disabled Toilets available in all buildings on all floors
  • Safe Refuge points on all floors above Ground Level
  • Evacuation chairs in case of lift failure

Holme Lacy Campus

  • Disabled Parking Spaces - 5
  • Automatic and/or assisted doors to main teaching block, Orchard Block and Wilsley House
  • Disabled Toilets in Equine Yard, Main Teaching Block, Pound Farm yard, Wilsley House, Rivers Block (also disabled shower) and Rural Crafts
  • Hearing Loops – Available in Reception and Resource Centre + 1 portable
  • Disabled Lift available for access to lower floor area in Rural Crafts Centre
