An apprenticeship opportunity has arisen to work with Balfours in their Hereford divison as their Trainee Accounts Administrator learning all aspects of AAT Accounts/Finance Level 2 at their Hereford division.
Balfours is an established, independent regional rural property and estate management business servicing clients in Shropshire, Herefordshire, surrounding counties and Wales.
In addition to a rent collection and processing service - we provide many of our management clients with a full bookkeeping and accounts service.
Our accounts and bookkeeping team is made up of 3 accountants and 12 bookkeepers based across 3 sites. www.balfours.co.uk/accounts-bookkeeping
Some of your duties will involve:
Invoices onto purchase ledger
Posting rent receipts onto sales ledger
Cash collection and credit control
Bank account reconciliations
General admin and filing
Taking orders and processing credit card payments
Assisting with budgeting, pay roll, management reports, VAT returns and end of year accounts

Discrete and confidential
Minimum GCSE Grade 4 (Grade C) or above or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English
Possibility of becoming being made full-time at the end of the apprenticeship
Our Herefordshire office is located on a private rural estate off the A465 – approx 6 miles SW of Hereford. It is not realistic to use public transport so candidates must have a driving license and use of a vehicle.
