Apprenticeship Details

Leominster Motors is a family owned Mazda and Peugeot main dealer and Ford Aftersales retailer. The business was first founded by Mr Derrick Grieveson in 1953 and in 1973 his son Mr Stuart Grieveson joined the family business. Over the last 25 years the company has acquired many new car franchised dealerships in the West Midlands and to date four of Mr Grievesons grandchildren work within the group.

The role:

  • Servicing vehicles - carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Advising the service advisors about required repairs
  • Producing time estimates
  • Maintaining repair and service records

  • We are looking for an individual who shows commitment, determination, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE grade A*-C or 9-4 in maths and English

Future prospects?

  • This post is extremely likely to become full time after completing the apprenticeship. There are lots of opportunities to develop your career within our business. There is a manufacturer training plan to further develop your skills.

Reality check

  • This is a physical job and you will be working on your feet all day, there is also an element of lifting and carrying involved. Saturday work is required, if under 18 years old time off during the week will be given. If over 18 years old, overtime rate for working over 40 hours per week will be given.
