The creative industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK economy. Our courses take an in-depth look at audio Industry-related vocations. Careers range from Producer, Studio and Live Engineering and sound design to record label roles, publishing, A&R.
Work might involve Live Sound such as festivals or tours, Studio Recording, the production and creation of music/audio for a wide range of applications including: broadcast, multimedia, film, animation and computer games. Students also come away with many transferable skills enabling them to enter in to many alternative careers that require critical thinking, communication and IT.
With a long-standing reputation in this field, HLC has extensively equipped facilities featuring six studios, a Mac suite Logic Pro X (and many plugins) and Avid ProTools, Our premier studio houses the Industry-standard Solid State Logic Duality console and is supported by two purpose built live rooms. Students also benefit from the extensive experience and expertise of leading staff - who are longstanding industry professionals.
