“I have been working with the company Special Metals for four years now and was recommended by my employer to complete the Electrical Engineering HNC. As it’s only one day in college per week, it has fitted in well around my full-time job.

I previously studied the Level 3 Engineering course at the College so knew my way around and was happy to come back to the College to study at higher education level. I am local to Hereford so it has worked out really well.

My plans for the future are to continue at my company and my long-term plan will be to move up into a managerial role. I believe that the course I am studying will assist in my journey towards this.

The tutors at the College really know what they are talking about and during the course we have covered basic maths, physics, electrical principles, an electrical based project and presentation. I’ve had a really great experience of the course and have learnt a lot.”
