Advanced Digital Photography
The course aim is to provide students with a complete advanced education in digital photography. The tutor has spent 23 years of his career in professional photography and has general and advanced photographic qualifications, a City and Guilds 7407 teaching qualification and a Certificate of Education.
The course will include advanced digital photography topics such as:
- How to 'see' photographically
- Camera and camera technique
- Image enhancement
- How to use light in digital photography
- Viewpoint and composition
- Landscape and architectural
- Portrait and group photography
- Close-up photography
- Photographing movement
- Advanced assignments and presentations
- A small amount of web-based research
- Black and white and toning in digital photography
- Printing what you see
Ideally students will have completed my intermediate digital photography course (in some cases just the basic perhaps) - the class will be structured to give students assignments and tasks, and to cover advanced digital photography aspects that students require. Students will need their own cameras for this course.
