Intermediate Reptile Keeping
This course is designed for those who have already attended the Introduction to Reptile Keeping course and wish to expand on their knowledge and understanding.
This course is delivered by Dave Howard, with 30 years’ experience of keeping and breeding reptiles, owner of the successful specialist reptile shop, Rainforest Exotics, and co-owner of Roaming Reptiles offering educational animal encounters to parties and schools.
During this course Dave will provide more advanced detail into the reptile keeping in order for keepers to understand their animals better, dispel common myths, the dangers of certain information available online and to provide solutions to common problems.

- Handling and equipment
- Feeding, common problems and what to do
- Ethics of breeding
- How to deal with problems ie. snake bite
- What is DWA?
On successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded with a College Certificate of Attendance.
Candidates are able to repeat this course or progress onto How to Create a Bio-Active Enclosure
