Level 3 T Level Building Services Engineering (Electrical Installations)
- Unfortunately, we are currently unable to secure government funding for learners aged 19+ for T Levels.
A T Level is a new two-year qualification which combines classroom theory, practical learning and a substantial work experience placement in the second year to ensure students have the skills to thrive in the world of work.

You MUST be under the age of 19 in order to apply for this course.
T Levels aim to provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door to highly skilled employment, higher level study or a Higher Apprenticeship.
The course is delivered through workshop-based practical sessions, class-based theoretical delivery and work experience placements in your second year.
Qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 T Level in Construction: Building Services Engineering - Electrotechnical Engineering (equivalent to three A Levels)
Duration: Two years

- Construction Science and Principles
- Construction Design Principles
- Construction and the Built Environment
- Construction Sustainability Principles
- Construction Measurement Principles
- Building Technology Principles
- Construction Information Principles
- Relationship Management in Construction
- Digital Technology in Construction
- Construction Commercial/Business Principles
- Building Services
- Engineering Systems
- Maintenance Principles
- Tools Equipment and Materials
Students will also take the following specialist units:
- Electrotechnical Engineering
- Install electrotechnical systems
- Commission electrotechnical systems
- Maintain electrotechnical systems
- De-commission electrotechnical systems
Entry requirements
- Five GCSEs at grades 4 or above including maths and English
- Successful interview and initial assessment, including diagnostic tests and a good school reference
- You will need to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for this subject area
Progression
Progression routes shown are dependent on successful completion of qualifications and meeting entry criteria.

- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation
- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Gas Engineering
- Higher Level Study at University or a Degree Apprenticeship
