Buildings Accessibility
The College has introduced a number of adaptations to its buildings, in line with the Disability Discrimination Act (2001). This has made it more accessible for all students.
Hereford Campus
- All buildings contain a wide range of facilities including lifts to all floors, wide corridors and electrical opening entrance doors
- Disabled Parking Spaces - 13
- All buildings have accessibility via ramp
- Disabled Lift available in B Block
- Hearing Loop – Available in Reception and 6 Designated Classrooms in the LRC
- The main outside pathways are all DDA Compliant
- Disabled Toilets available in all buildings on all floors
- Safe Refuge points on all floors above Ground Level
- Evacuation chairs in case of lift failure
Holme Lacy Campus
- Disabled Parking Spaces - 5
- Automatic and/or assisted doors to main teaching block, Orchard Block and Wilsley House
- Disabled Toilets in Equine Yard, Main Teaching Block, Pound Farm yard, Wilsley House, Rivers Block (also disabled shower) and Rural Crafts
- Hearing Loops – Available in Reception and Resource Centre + 1 portable
- Disabled Lift available for access to lower floor area in Rural Crafts Centre
