SAFEGUARDING AND WELLBEING MANAGER
37 HOURS FOR 52 WEEKS
The Safeguarding Team is looking for an enthusiastic and resilient Safeguarding and Wellbeing Manager to support the work of the Head of Student Services and DSL across all of the college campuses at Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College.
This operational management position holds the responsibility of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and manages a team of mentoring and support staff in the successful delivery of pastoral services for students. This exciting position will dynamically manage staff caseloads for support, advisory and information services to students and be proactive in-service development. The role is key in supporting students to continuously seek to improve their safety, health and well-being and their retention at College to achieve academic success. Working with staff, partner agencies and the Safeguarding Panel will be key parts of the role.
The successful applicant must possess the drive, energy and enthusiasm for such a pivotal role and have experience of managing pastoral and welfare related services in a large organisation and with a range of client groups within a solutions-focussed approach. A proven track record of working with multi-agencies to help young people succeed is a must.
