Hourly Rate £23.90 - £26.41 per hour (includes holiday pay) dependent upon qualifications and experience 
 
As part of the ongoing development of the Foundation Studies & Supported Learning curriculum offer at HLNSC, we are seeking to complement our existing delivery team with a part time lecturer in this well-established area of provision.   
 
The role will involve the delivery of Employability Skills units from Entry level to Level 2 and the embedded development of personal and social development skills, communication skills and basic English and Maths skills to full time students aged 16 to 18.   
 
Teaching hours will be 6hrs per week across Tuesdays and Wednesdays term-time only. 
 
Applicants should have relevant experience of working with and supporting disadvantaged young people in the education, social services, or voluntary sector. Teaching experience within a Secondary or Further Education environment would be desirable. Equally as important, the successful candidate will have an empathy with, and passion for, supporting and progressing disadvantaged young people and be willing to go that extra mile in meeting and responding to student needs as and when they arise.
