Full Time Lecturer/Course Tutor in Property & Building Maintenance

Position Details



The role will involve the delivery of Property & Building Maintenance skills and units to our 16-19 year old Level 2 full-time students and for day-release apprentices.  Practical workshops and theory lessons will cover a range of disciplines, to include Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Carpentry and Bricklaying.  Teaching will take place at our Hereford Campus.

As part of the role you will also be expected to carry out the associated organisational/administrative processes including preparation of work, marking and assessment, student welfare and counselling and to support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College's key mission and objctives.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (minimum Level 3) and have relevant experience/knowledge within the property and building maintenance industry.  Those without teaching experience, but willing to train towards, are welcome to apply.
