£24.95 - £27.46 (this includes a payment for holiday pay)

Health & Social Care is one of the largest departments in this highly successful Further Education College.  We currently follow the NCFE and BTEC specifications at Level 2 and 3 and Open College Network for Access to HE Health.  We are also delivering Health Bootcamps to adult learners who are interested in a career within the sector.  We would like to build upon this and appoint a dynamic, innovative and student-centred lecturer who can motivate and support our learners.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with Health & Social Care experience to join a team of experienced lecturers teaching across levels 2 and 3 including Access to HE.  The ideal candidate will be willing to take on course leadership responsibilities for one or more of the Health & Social Care programmes.

Lecturers in the Health & Social Care department work closely together following a common programme and using a variety of methods.  The department is well resourced and the team is supportive.  Emphasis is placed on sharing best practice and liaising over schemes of work.
