£24.95 - £27.46 per hour (includes holiday pay)

As part of the ongoing development and growth of our Business Studies provision at HLNSC, we are seeking to appoint a part time (hourly paid) teacher of Business Studies.

Business Studies is a vibrant and highly successful subject area in our Further Education College. We currently follow the Transition to T-Level Level 2 specification and RQF BTEC Level 3 specification. The subject teams contain experienced staff who achieve very good success rates with our students. We would like to build upon this and appoint a dynamic, innovative and student-centred teacher who can motivate and manage this provision.

Teachers work closely together following a common programme and using a variety of methods. The department is well resourced and the team is supportive. Emphasis is placed on sharing best practice and liaising over schemes of work. The role would include lesson preparation, delivering and assessment for timetabled lessons over 3 days for up to 7 hours on the L2 & L3 Business Studies programme.

As part of your role you may have the opportunity to accompany students on visits both locally and nationally.
