We are seeking to appoint a flexible, student-centred teacher with appropriate qualifications and experience to join our Maths team at college and to contribute to the development of this course.  You will demonstrate passion and skills for inspiring and supporting students to achieve to the best of their ability, helping them to realise their goals that will change their lives.  GCSE maths at Hereford and Holme Lacy Campus is a successful subject area within our Further Education College.  Your base will be Hereford and Holme Lacy.  This post could be shared by two members of staff.  Please state in your application whether you are available for all three days.

The role will include curriculum planning, teaching and assessment of students following the OCR GCSE Foundation Curriculum.  Teachers work closely together following a common programme and using a variety of methods.  The department is well resourced and the team is supportive.  Emphasis is placed on sharing best practice and liaising over schemes of learning and resourcing.
