0.8 Teacher of Foundation Degree Counselling 

(4 days per week, job share considered)

Salary range £28,673 - £30,372

Counselling is a high achieving department in this extremely successful Further Education College. The person-centred Foundation Degree in Counselling is run in partnership with the University of Worcester at the Hereford campus. We would like to appoint a teacher who is dynamic, innovative and student centred who can motivate and support our learners. The successful candidate will have a recognised Counselling level 5 qualification or above, as well as experience in the field. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, or a willingness to work towards such a qualification.

This opportunity will be of interest to those with a passion for developing and shaping the counsellors of the future, as well as those looking to gain such experience for career progression. Working over four days per week, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the achievements of all students by maintaining the highest quality delivery of teaching and learning and pastoral care. Applicants wishing to job share will also be considered.
