We are seeking to appoint the following post: 

Marketing Assistant  

1 FTE, 52 weeks per year
Salary Grade 5, spine point 22-23, £22,499 - £24,611 

Based at Hereford College, Folly Lane, Hereford

Herefordshire, Ludlow & North Shropshire College (HLNSC) are seeking a dynamic and motivated full-time Marketing Assistant to join our team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of our digital marketing activities while ensuring the delivery of high-quality marketing campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, and based at our Hereford College on Folly Lane, responsibilities will include assisting with digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, creating and maintaining digital content including website copy, email newsletters, social media posts and advertising campaigns.

A minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role is desirable with working knowledge of In-Design.  You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  Strong attention to detail and be highly organised in your approach to multiple tasks and a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

HLNSC has 5 Colleges within the Group as well as Apprenticeships.  Collaboration with colleagues based at our other colleges will provide you with a great deal of variety and interest – one day you could be having a meeting to promote renewable technology courses and the next could be visiting one of our land-based colleges and taking photos of our Meercats or discussing promotional merchandise with our external suppliers. 

We run numerous events throughout the year and having experience of organising events would be an advantage and due to the requirement to travel to our other campuses and events, this role will require you to have a driving licence and use of your own car (travelling expenses reimbursed).
