ITV film crew visits Holme Lacy!
There was excitement at the rural crafts centre in Holme Lacy this month, as an ITV film crew came to create a documentary piece for a television series on traditional crafts still alive in the UK. With a focus on the Blacksmiths forges, the crew spent a couple of hours recording students as they worked. Staff and students were also interviewed on their thoughts about the craft.
As one of Europe's largest Blacksmithing Schools, Holme Lacy attracts trainee Blacksmiths from all around the world, offering everything from 3 Day introductory courses, full-time study or a BA (Hons) in Artist Blacksmithing, which is in conjunction with Hereford College of Arts.
