Precision Livestock Technology Session
Our Level 3 Agriculture students took part in a virtual interactive event with Aberystwyth University this week. The session was focusing on the role of precision livestock technology and what it can offer livestock farmers.
One example of the technology that was discussed during the session was the use accelerometers to monitor ewe movement before lambing. Our students were able to interact with the data collected from a ewe to see the results and how it works.
The Level 3 Agriculture course is a suitable route to take to progress onto university. This session provided the students with a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the Agriculture research being undertaken at Aberyswtyth as well as what is could be like to study there.
