Sustainable Food Production with Dr Duncan Westbury
Dr Duncan Westbury will explore why there is a need for us to produce our food in a more sustainable way, and how this might be achieved. It will also address the question of whether we should consider our dietary choices when considering environmental impacts. Case studies will be used to illustrate what simple measures farmers can do to make food production more sustainable.
Dr Duncan Westbury is the course leader for BSc (Hons) Environmental Management & Sustainability at the University of Worcester and has over 25 years’ experience researching how farmers can work with biodiversity to support the sustainable production of food.
